Mahindra will start the next year with the XUV700 facelift, which is expected to be launched in January and will get several changes in the exterior and interior.
Mahindra will further strengthen its hold in the key high-volume segment next year with an emphasis on its ICE SUV portfolio. This year the company had launched many big launches like BE 6, XEV 9e, new Bolero series, new Thar and XEV 9S, and the same aggressive product strategy will continue in 2026 as well. The company has prepared at least three important launches for the next year.
In January, Mahindra will introduce the facelift of the XUV700, which is rumored to be launched with the name XUV 7XO based on a recently filed trademark. The new model is expected to get bolder headlamps, a more premium radiator grille, new 17- and 18-inch alloy wheels and updated taillamp graphics.
The cabin may get a newly designed dashboard and triple-display layout, with features like video calls, gaming and video/music streaming on the passenger screen. No changes are expected in the powertrain and thus the SUV will continue with 2.0 liter petrol and 2.2 liter diesel engines. Transmission options will include manual and automatic.

Immediately after XUV 7XO, the company can launch XUV 3XO EV, which will be a pure electric version of XUV 3XO and will directly compete with Tata Nexon.ev. It will be a smaller and more affordable EV than the XUV400, although the range may be slightly less. According to reports, it is expected to get a 35 kWh battery pack, but there is no clear information regarding the powertrain yet.
The updated model of the new generation Scorpio, i.e. Scorpio-N, launched in 2022, is going to arrive in the second half of next year. Testing of this updated model has already started and its testing model has been seen several times. The 2026 Scorpio-N will have mild design changes to retain its strong and popular identity. It may get new bumpers, updated headlamps and taillamps, and new 17- and 18-inch alloy wheels. New color options will also be included.

A new color theme and many new tech features are expected to be available in the cabin. It is possible that Mahindra will give it a fully digital instrument cluster and upgraded infotainment system, which will have better performance, wireless Android Auto and better connectivity. There is also a possibility of getting panoramic sunroof and level 2 ADAS features. However, powertrain options remain the same as before.
