Many features revealed in the new teaser of Mahindra XEV 9S, will be launched soon

Mahindra XEV 9S will get a 3-screen setup for digital instrument cluster, touchscreen infotainment and passenger entertainment screen.

Mahindra is going to introduce its new all-electric flagship SUV XEV 9S in India on November 27. Many premium features and modern technologies will be provided in this SUV. The company has released a new teaser which shows a glimpse of its luxurious interior. The teaser confirms that it will feature a 1,400-watt 16-speaker audio system from Harman Kardon, which comes with Dolby Atmos technology.

The same system is also used in the XEV 9e and BE 6. It is also clear from the teaser that special attention has been paid to door pads, button layout and soft-touch finish in the cabin. The XEV 9S has a 7-seat seating layout, which will have slide and recline seats, which will provide more comfort to the passengers.

Mahindra XEV 9S will make its global debut at the ‘Scream Electric’ event to be held in Bengaluru on November 27. This will be the company’s first all-electric 7-seater SUV, built on the brand’s INGLO platform. The same platform has also been used in the XEV 9e and BE 6. This platform has been designed to deliver better weight balance, efficient performance and more interior space.

Talking about the interior, Mahindra XEV 9S will get a modern and premium cabin, which will have three large digital displays. Which will include driver information screen, central infotainment system and passenger display. Apart from this, it has a flat-bottom steering wheel, sleek gear selector, and a panoramic sunroof that extends almost to the entire roof.

Talking about comfort features, it will have features like multi-zone climate control, heated and ventilated seats, memory function, adjustable headrest and central armrest. Its INGLO platform will have the same battery and drivetrain technology as the BE 6 and XEV 9e. Which includes 59 kWh LFP battery pack and 79 kWh LFP battery pack.

The range of the Mahindra XEV 9S is said to be more than 500 km, and it will also feature ultra-fast DC charging and bidirectional charging. Its design is inspired by the XUV.e8 concept and XUV700 and uses styling elements specific to EVs. After its launch, Mahindra will launch several new electric cars in 2026, including the BE 6 based Rall-E and the updated XUV700.
