New Delhi. The country’s largest car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki has launched the fourth generation model of its popular sedan car Dzire today. This car has been introduced with new design and safety features. The new Maruti Dzire, equipped with attractive looks and powerful features, has been priced at Rs 6.79 lakh (ex-showroom).
Variants and Booking
Maruti Suzuki has launched the new Dzire in a total of four variants – LXI, VXI, ZXI, and ZXI Plus. The car will be available in 7 different colors, including gallant red, alluring blue, natmeg brown, blue, Black, Arctic White, Magma Gray and Splendid Silver. Interested customers can book this car on a token amount of Rs 11,000.
Design and styling
Many major changes have been made in the look of the new Maruti Dzire. The car’s front has a new sharp design grill, LED headlamps, and attractive fog lamps housing, which makes the car styling look more sharp and modern than before. In the back, the Y-shape LED lighting tail lamps and chrome strip on tailgate have been used. The top model has diamond-cut alloy wheels, which gives this car a more premium look.
Size and space
The new Dzire has a length of 3,995 mm, width 1,735 mm and height 1,525 mm. Its wheelbase is 2,450 mm and ground clearance is 163 mm. The height of the new Dzire has been increased by 10 mm compared to the previous model, which will provide better headrooms to the passengers. It also has a 382 liter boot space, which provides sufficient space for passengers’ goods.
Power and performance
The new Dzire provides a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder ‘Z’ series engine, which generates 81.58 PS power and 111.7 Nm torque. This engine is more fine and responsive than before. The car is introduced with a 5-speed manual and 5-speed automatic transmission, and is also made available with CNG kit.
Mileage and fuel tank capacity
Maruti claims that the manual variant of this car will give a mileage of up to 24.79 km per liter, automatic variant 25.71 km per liter, and CNG variant of 33.73 km per kg. It has a 37 -liter petrol tank and a 55 -liter CNG tank. In terms of safety, discs and back drum brakes are given in its front wheels.
