MG Majestor will be a more premium version of Gloster and will have many new features and advanced technology at the time of launch.

JSW MG Motor India is all set to launch its new flagship SUV. This upcoming SUV named MG Majestor will be officially launched on 12th February 2026 and will enter an all-new D+ SUV segment. The MG Majestor is being touted as the company’s largest and most powerful SUV yet, and will compete with popular models in the full-size SUV segment.

The first teaser released by MG shows the Majestor’s impressive size and strong road presence. It is being said to be India’s longest, widest and tallest SUV. The teaser gives a glimpse of its front design, which features a large ‘Majestic Matrix’ grille, sharp Falcon-style LED DRLs and split headlamp units. Overall its look looks quite muscular.

MG has previously showcased the Majestor at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, where it was introduced alongside the Cyberster and M9. While the Cyberster and M9 are already on sale through MG’s premium select outlets, the Majestor will be the company’s most luxurious and exclusive SUV yet.

The MG Majestor will be based on the Maxus D90 platform, which is a body-on-frame architecture used in large SUVs globally. In terms of design, it has been given dark grille elements, new bumpers, skid plates, wide wheel arches and a more upright stance to differentiate it from Gloster. The side profile is expected to get 19-inch alloy wheels, while the rear may see new taillamps, larger Majestor badging and dual exhaust setup.

Talking about the engine, it is likely to get MG’s well-known 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder twin-turbo diesel engine, which generates 213 bhp power and 478 Nm torque. It can be offered with automatic gearbox. Apart from this, selectable four-wheel-drive (4WD) system will also be available in it.

MG Majestor will be equipped with premium features in the interior. Possible features may include a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, fully digital instrument cluster, connected car technology, premium audio system, powered and ventilated seats, panoramic sunroof, three-zone climate control, 360-degree camera and level-2 ADAS safety suite.
