The new Bajaj Chetak C25 is powered by a 2.5 kWh battery, which offers an IDC range of 113 km on a single charge.
Bajaj Auto has further strengthened its electric scooter range with the launch of the all-new Chetak C25. With a starting price of Rs 91,399 (ex-showroom), the Chetak C25 comes across as an affordable option and is powered by a 2.5 KWH battery, which is claimed to deliver a range of 113 km on a single charge. It takes 2 hours 25 minutes to charge the battery from 0 to 80 percent.
With a 750W off-board charger, this scooter gets fully charged in 3 hours 45 minutes. Bajaj has also provided an on-the-go charging port in it, so that riders can charge small devices while travelling. This electric scooter has a hub-mounted motor and its maximum speed is 55 km per hour. Apart from this, Eco and Sport ride modes are also available in it.
With the help of reverse mode, it becomes easier to park and take off the scooter in tight spaces. Built with a metal body, the Chetak C25 has an IP67 rating, making it water and dust proof, and it also has a ground clearance of 170 mm. Despite its sturdy build, it weighs just 108 kg, making it easy to maneuver.
There is 25 liters of storage space under the seat and the turning radius of the scooter is also the shortest in its segment (1,825 mm). It includes features like color LCD display, call accept and reject facility, music controls and front disc and rear drum brakes. Seat height is 763 mm, while the wheelbase is 1,225 mm.
Customers can further customize the Chetak C25 with optional accessories. Bajaj offers the Techpack for Rs 3,000, which unlocks additional smart features. An extended warranty of 5 years/70,000 km is available for Rs 5,990, while Roadside Assistance costs Rs 1,099 annually. Accessories include a main stand worth Rs 917 and side footrest worth Rs 690.
The scooter comes with a standard warranty of 3 years or 50,000 kms and is available in 6 color options including Active Black, Racing Red, Classic White, Ocean Teal (matte), Opalescent Silver and Misty Yellow.
