Will get big touchscreen and full digital instrument cluster
There is little hope of major changes in the exterior of the new Scorpio N facelift, but the interior will be more modern than before. The biggest change in the spy photos is the new free-standing touchscreen infotainment system, which appears much larger than before. Its layout looks quite similar to Mahindra Thar Roxx. It is expected that the new Scorpio N will also get a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.25-inch full digital driver display. This will be a big upgrade over the current model’s small touchscreen and semi-digital instrument cluster. Vehicle and driving related information will be visible with new graphics in the digital display.
New switches and simple layout as before
The special thing is that Mahindra is going to offer physical buttons for important functions in the cabin, which will make them easy to use while driving. However, the switches below the climate controls now sport a new toggle-style design, which seems to be inspired by the Thar Roxx. Dual-zone climate control will be available in the SUV like before. The layout of the center console will also remain almost the same, which will include the gear lever, cup holders and electronic parking brake.
Many new features including panoramic sunroof
From the test mules that were revealed earlier, it was being speculated that the company is going to provide many major feature updates in the new Scorpio N. The biggest change could be the panoramic sunroof, which will replace the existing single-pane sunroof. Apart from this, the SUV is also expected to get features like 360-degree camera, better audio system, ventilated seats, more advanced connected car technology and level-2 ADAS in top variants. With these updates, Mahindra wants to bring the Scorpio N closer to the Thar Roxx and XUV 7XO in terms of technology.
There will be slight changes in the exterior also
A new front grille, updated bumper and new LED lighting elements can be seen in the exterior design of the new Scorpio N. Newly designed alloy wheels have also been seen during testing. Mechanically, no major changes are expected in the new Scorpio N facelift. The existing 2.0-litre turbo petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engine options will continue. The option of manual and torque converter automatic gearbox will be available with both engines. 4WD variants will also be available as before.
