In terms of design, the new Duster looks more muscular and attractive than before. It has a trapezoidal grille, full-LED lighting, new bumper, thick cladding and 18-inch alloy wheels, which give it a strong road presence. On the inside, you get a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system (with Google support) and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster.
Apart from this, it has been provided with more than 60 connected features, ventilated and power adjustable front seats, dual-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, powered tailgate and many storage spaces. For safety, it has more than 35 features, which include ADAS, hill descent control and drive modes like Eco, Comfort and Perso.
Despite so many advanced features, the company has kept the essential controls in the form of physical buttons so that the use remains easy. Renault is also offering a warranty of 7 years or 1.5 lakh km with this SUV. The new Duster is an important product for the company, which strengthens its comeback strategy in India.
The new Duster has three engine options, which include 1.0 liter turbo petrol, 1.3 liter turbo petrol and 1.8 liter petrol hybrid. The 1.0 liter turbo petrol produces 100 PS of power and 166 Nm of torque and is paired with a 6 manual gearbox. The 1.3L turbo engine delivers 163 PS power and 280 Nm torque, which is paired with 6-speed manual or 6-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
Whereas the Strong Hybrid E-Tech version has a 1.8 liter petrol engine along with an electric motor and a 1.4 kWh battery, due to which it is possible to drive only on electric mode up to 80% of the time in the city.
