The new Renault Duster will be offered in India with 3 engine options, along with more than 35 safety features including ADAS.
The new Renault Duster is set to be launched in the midsize SUV segment in India at an affordable and competitive price, as most of its components are made in India. Its delivery will start from April and booking is already open through R Pass by paying Rs 21,000. The company will announce its prices on March 17. Its strong hybrid e-tech version will arrive around Diwali. This SUV will get a warranty of 7 years or up to 1.5 lakh kilometers.
The third generation Duster was recently revealed in Chennai. This is part of Renault’s International Game Plan 2027 for India. It has been built on a new modular platform and more than 90 percent of the vehicle has been designed keeping in mind the Indian roads and weather. A 7-seater model will also be launched on the same platform next year.
More than 35 safety features have been provided in the new Duster. Inside, a 10.1-inch touchscreen is available, in which features like Google Maps, Assistant and Play Store run directly. Along with this, a 10.25 inch digital instrument cluster is also provided, in which important information related to the vehicle is visible.
It has more than 60 connected features, 17 ADAS safety features, hill descent control and different drive modes. The cabin offers comfortable seats, yellow stitching design, ventilated and power adjusted seats, dual-zone AC, panoramic sunroof, powered tailgate and generous storage space. From outside, this SUV comes with a strong look, which includes a new grille, full LED lights, 18-inch alloy wheels and Mountain Jade Green color option.
Talking about the engine, the top hybrid version has a 1.8 liter petrol engine and battery, due to which it can be driven in electric mode most of the time in the city. Apart from this, the 1.3 liter turbo petrol engine gives 163 PS power and it will be available in both manual and automatic gearbox. The base variant will come with a 1.0 liter turbo petrol engine with a manual gearbox.
The off-road capability of this SUV is also strong. It has 212 mm ground clearance, approach angle of 26.9° and departure angle of 34.7°. The length of this SUV is 4,346 mm, width 1,815 mm, height 1,703 mm, wheelbase 2,657 mm, ground clearance 212 mm and boot space of 700 liters.
