New Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 launched in India, price starts from Rs 2.49 lakh – sportier than before

New Guerrilla 450

A new Apex variant has been added to the 2026 Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450, which has new features, tires and ride modes.

Royal Enfield has launched the updated 2026 Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 in India, with a starting price of Rs 2.49 lakh (ex-showroom). This bike has come with updates within two years of the launch of its first model. The biggest update this time is the new Apex variant, which makes it more sporty and street-focused. Bookings have started across India and test rides and deliveries will begin from March 31, 2026.

The riding position in the new Guerrilla 450 has been made more sporty. It has a lower and re-positioned aluminum handlebar, which gives the rider a forward leaning position. This makes the bike feel more sharp and engaging, especially during cornering.

This time a major change has also been made in the tyres. The bike has 17-inch Vredestein Centuro ST tyres, which provide better grip on the road, whether the road is dry or wet. Updated Ceat Gripp XL RE tires are also provided in Dash and Flash variants.

Ride modes have also been updated. Now the Street and Sport modes are smoother than before and also have a memory function, meaning the last selected mode remains present even after switching off the bike. New red, black and green color options have been given in the Apex variant, which make it more attractive.

Some new elements have also been added to the design, including rim tapes, a new rear seat cowl and a colour-coded front cowl. The Dash variant gets a new Twilight Blue color and some accessories like hand guards and headlight grille as standard. Mechanically, no changes have been made to the bike. It has the same 452cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled Sherpa engine, which gives 40 PS power and 40 Nm torque. This engine comes with 6-speed gearbox.

All variants get a 4-inch TFT Tripper Dash, which has Google Maps based navigation and smartphone connectivity. Apart from this, the company is also offering 7 years extended warranty and roadside assistance. Apart from this, the company has also designed special riding gear and a custom Guerrilla 450 in collaboration with Fairtex.
