The new Tiago gets the same 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine. The petrol version produces 86 PS of power and 113 Nm of torque, while the iCNG version produces 75.5 PS of power and 96.5 Nm of torque. Both have the option of 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox.
Tata has now also provided steering-mounted paddle shifters in the CNG AMT version, which makes driving and overtaking easier. Direct start feature is still available in CNG. The new Tiago has also improved a lot in terms of safety. Now 6 airbags are available as standard in all variants. Apart from this, features like ESP, traction control, hill hold assist, tire pressure monitoring system and 360-degree camera are also provided.
