Bookings for Mahindra XUV 7XO have already started and it will be equipped with many premium features compared to the existing XUV 700.
Mahindra has once again released the teaser of the new XUV 7XO ahead of its launch on January 5, 2026, giving a glimpse of its new technology and cabin upgrades. Bookings for this model have started earlier this month with a token amount of Rs 21,000, wherein customers can choose their preferred powertrain, transmission and dealership at the time of booking.
There will be no major changes in the mechanical setup, but this time the focus is on new design, more features and modern in-car technology. The recent teaser shows a 540-degree camera system, which gives a clearer and larger view of the surroundings with the help of multiple cameras. Along with this, a new ADAS visual display will also be available, which will easily show the driver assist features on the screen while driving.
Mahindra has also shown off an in-car theater mode with BYOD support for rear passengers, which will be managed through the Adrenox+ software suite. The same system also handles infotainment, connectivity and vehicle intelligence. Both the front and rear of the SUV see design updates, including a new lighting signature that seems to be inspired by Mahindra’s new electric cars like the XEV 9S.
The XUV 7XO features newly designed LED DRLs, projector headlamps and inverted L-shaped elements at the rear, which are joined by a full-width light bar. Apart from this, new dual-tone alloy wheels, updated bumper, new exterior color options and grille with vertical chrome accent will also be seen. XUV 7XO branding is also given on the bonnet and tailgate.
Talking about the cabin, the XUV 7XO will get Mahindra’s triple-screen dashboard layout and panoramic sunroof for the first time in an ICE model. The teaser also shows a new triple-tone dashboard theme, a new steering wheel with brown and tan finish, upgraded upholstery and new door trims. The car shown appears to be the top-spec AX7L variant, which is expected to get features like boss mode seating, new air vents, new center console, electrically adjustable ORVMs and better quality materials.
Talking about engine options, Mahindra Mahindra will also launch the Scorpio N facelift in the coming months.
