Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyrider’s Tech Pack adds ambient lighting, heads-up display and digital video recorder (dash camera) features
Toyota Kirloskar Motor has introduced a new Tech Package for the urban cruiser Hyryder in the Indian market. This accessory package is available for all variants of the Hyryder, allowing customers to upgrade it as per their chosen variant by paying an additional cost. The price of this tech package has been kept at Rs 29,499 and it can be installed at authorized Toyota dealerships across the country. This curated package includes three Toyota Genuine Accessories.
It has been provided with ambient lighting, which makes the interior more premium and comfortable through soft and customizable light, especially during night driving. Additionally, the Head-Up Display (HUD) displays essential driving information in front of the driver’s line of sight, reducing distractions and improving safety.
The third feature is the digital video recorder (dash cam), which records continuously during the journey and provides additional security. Since its launch in 2022, the Hyrider has taken a strong hold in the midsize SUV segment. Its strong hybrid technology has received a good response from customers, and the model has crossed the sales mark of more than 2 lakh units so far. The starting price of Hyryder is Rs 10.94 lakh (ex-showroom).
Toyota’s self-charging strong hybrid system gives the SUV the ability to travel about 40% of the distance in electric mode and about 60% of the time in electric driving. Its claimed mileage is 27.97 kmpl. At the same time, as a conventional option, it also has Neo Drive 1.5-litre petrol engine, which is available with manual and automatic transmission.
Both 2WD and 4WD options are available in Hyryder. Its exterior has Crystal Acrylic Grille, twin LED DRLs, muscular body lines and 17-inch alloy wheels. Talking about the interior, it has features like ventilated seats, panoramic sunroof, 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system (wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto), wireless charging, USB ports and 360-degree camera.
Customers get a standard warranty of 3 years or 1,00,000 km, which can be extended up to 5 years or 2,20,000 km. Apart from this, a warranty of 8 years or 1,60,000 km is also given on the hybrid battery.
