Starting prices for the Roadster motorcycle range now start at Rs 79,999, bringing electric motorcycles now at par with entry-level petrol (ICE) bikes.
Ola Electric has announced to give a new beginning to the electric motorcycle segment in India by announcing ‘Holi Mahotsav’ on the occasion of Holi. On the auspicious occasion of Holika Dahan, the company said that the starting price of its Roadster range will now start from just Rs 79,999. With this new price, electric motorcycles have now come at par with entry-level petrol (ICE) bikes.

As part of Holi offers, the company has also introduced ‘Muhurat Mahotsav’, which is valid only for today and tomorrow. Limited units will be available at special festive prices during a special ‘Shubh Muhurat’ window of 90 minutes. During this time the price will be disclosed in the live window only. Additionally, customers can also avail 8 years extended warranty on S1 Pro (3 kWh and 4 kWh) and S1 Pro+ (4 kWh).
A company spokesperson said, “With this Holi Roadster being priced at Rs 79,999, electric motorcycles are no longer a premium option but a sensible default option. This new price has bridged the gap between electric and petrol bikes and the pace of change will now accelerate.”
Recently, the company has also announced a special community program named ‘Ola Insiders’, which is for more than 10 lakh existing customers across the country. During the Holi Mahotsav, Ola Insiders members will get additional benefits of Rs 5,000 in addition to the existing benefits in the Muhurat Mahotsav window.
There are three main benefits available under the Ola Insiders Program. The first is the ‘Upgrade’ option, where Gen 1 and Gen 2 customers can upgrade their old scooters and get benefits of up to Rs 50,000 on Gen 3 S1 and Roadster models. The second ‘add-on’ option, where existing customers can avail benefits of up to Rs 20,000 (including cashback and MoveOS upgrade) on purchasing a new Ola vehicle in the same name. The third is ‘Referral’ benefit, where customers can earn up to Rs 5,000 Ola credit on successful delivery and new buyers get Rs 1,000 cashback.
Ola currently offers a wide range of electric Gen 3 S1 scooters, including the premium S1 Pro+ and S1 Pro with different battery options, as well as affordable models like the S1 On this special occasion of Holi, the company has taken a big step towards making electric mobility more accessible.
