The biggest feature of this scooter is 4680 Bharat Cell, which has been developed by Ola itself. However, its introductory price will remain valid only till the middle of this month. Ola Electric is now bringing its in-house battery technology to more affordable products as well, especially after cutting the price of the Roadster 9.1 kWh variant by Rs 60,000.
Under the company’s vertical integration strategy, cell manufacturing, battery pack development and entire vehicle production is done under one roof. Talking about performance, S1 X+ 5.2 kWh is quite powerful. It has an 11 kW mid-drive motor, which comes with integrated MCU. According to the company, this scooter gives a maximum range of 320 km (IDC) on a single charge.
Its top speed is 125 km/h, making it one of the fastest electric scooters in its segment. Apart from this, it also has Brake-by-Wire technology and front disc brake.
