Vespa made a strong hold
The biggest contributor to Piaggio’s total sales has been its popular brand ‘Vespa’. Let us tell you that 2,431 units of Vespa scooters have been sold in June, 2026. This accounts for about 65 percent of the company’s total sales. During this period, Vespa sales have increased by 56% on an annual basis. Whereas exactly a year ago i.e. in June 2025, this figure was 1,558 units.
Demand for Aprilia models continues
Scooters of the company’s sports brand ‘Aprilia’ are also getting good response from customers. Aprilia SR125 recorded sales of 483 units in June, 2026. During this period, sales of Aprilia SR125 increased by 7 percent on an annual basis. Whereas, 507 units of Aprilia SR150 have been sold. Let us tell you that during this period, the sales of Aprilia SR150 saw an increase of 50 percent on an annual basis.
Huge jump in Tuono sales
‘Tuono’ bike has surprised the most in the premium motorcycle segment. Let us tell you that 79 units of Tuono have been sold in June 2026. Whereas last year only 31-31 units were sold in both the months of June, 2025 and May, 2026. In this way, Tuono has registered a huge growth of 155% on both annual and monthly basis.
Excellent performance of RS bike
The performance of the company’s sports bike ‘RS’ has also been excellent. Let us tell you that a total of 241 units of Aprilia RS have been sold in June, 2026. Whereas last year in June 2025 this figure was 135 units. During this period, a huge annual increase of 79% has been recorded in the sales of this bike on annual basis. Due to their premium looks and powerful engines, these Piaggio models are giving tough competition to other foreign and Indian companies in the market.
