Italian automaker Aprilia has launched a limited edition version of its popular super sports bike RS 660. In the new edition, the company is offering a ‘Stars and Stripes’ paint scheme to celebrate its stellar performance at the AMA National Road Racing Championship in the US. Not only this, the company is offering an upgraded gearbox, bigger airflow fairing and rear seat cowl in the new variant. The limited edition bike company will sell only 1500 units worldwide.

In the new edition Aprilia RS 660, the company is offering a semi-faired body with muscular fuel tank, rider-only saddle, golden color front forks, an under-belly exhaust and a large windscreen. In the bike, you will get to see digital instrument console, all-LED lighting setup and alloy wheels. The company is offering the new edition in Apex Black, Acid Gold, Lava Red and Stars and Stripes (Limited Edition).

The bike has a 659cc liquid cooled engine. This parallel twin engine works in tandem with a 6-speed gearbox. The engine given in the bike gives power of 100bhp at 10,500 rpm and torque of 67Nm at 8,500rpm. For safety, this bike has dual channel ABS with front and rear disc brakes.
Apart from this, the company is also providing wheelie control, traction control, cruise control and engine mapping in the bike. As far as suspension is concerned, it gets 41mm inverted forks at the front and a mono shock unit at the rear. Talking about the price, the limited edition variant of this bike comes with a price tag of 10,600 Euro (about Rs 10.64 lakh).
