Renault Duster Adventure Edition gets adventure themed exclusive decal, Adventure Embellisher And Premium Adventure Floor Mats Meet
Renault India launched the new Duster in the Indian market in March this year at a starting price of Rs 10.49 lakh. Now the company has launched the Adventure Edition of this popular SUV. The starting ex-showroom price of this special edition has been kept at Rs 12.99 lakh. The Adventure Edition has been introduced to pay tribute to the adventure heritage of Duster.
Renault Duster has been known for its excellent ride quality, excellent handling and excellent performance on tough terrains. The company says that this edition celebrates the memorable journeys and experiences that have made Duster an iconic SUV among Indian customers.
This special edition was revealed by French Ambassador to India Thierry Mathou and Stéphane Deblaise, CEO of Renault Group India, on the occasion of France’s National Day (Bastille Day). On this occasion, Stephen DeBlaze said that Duster is not just an SUV, but it has been a part of the memories and journey of millions of customers. The new Adventure Edition has been brought to take forward this special relationship and the popular identity of Duster.
The new Renault Duster Adventure Edition is offered in Turbo TCe 100 MT, Turbo TCe 160 MT and Turbo TCe 160 DCT powertrain options. Whose prices have been kept at Rs 12.99 lakh, Rs 13.99 lakh and Rs 15.39 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively. It features adventure themed exclusive decals with topographic contour lines and geographical coordinates of Leh (34.27 N, 77.60 E).
Apart from this, Adventure embellisher and premium Adventure floor mats also give this edition a distinct identity. Talking about the features, it has been given premium features like full LED headlamps, electric panoramic sunroof, electric powered tailgate, connected car technology with My Renault App, automatic dual-zone climate control, 10.1-inch OpenR Link touchscreen infotainment system and 17-inch Ocean alloy wheels.
The entry-level model of the new Renault Duster has a Turbo TCe 100 engine, which produces 100 PS of power and 166 NM of torque. Whereas the Turbo TCe 160 engine generates power of 163 PS and torque of 280 Nm. This engine is available with 6-speed manual and 6-speed wet dual-clutch automatic (DCT) gearbox.
At the same time, the company will also present this SUV with hybrid engine by the end of this year. It uses a 1.8-litre petrol engine, an electric motor and a 1.4 kWh battery. The company claims that while driving in the city, this SUV can run only in electric mode about 80 percent of the time.
