Renault now seems to be more serious about the Indian market than before. The company has confirmed that it will launch four new models by 2030, out of which three SUVs will be launched in the market by next year. Through these new models, the company wants to strengthen its hold in the big and popular segments of the country.
1. Renault Duster
Renault will launch Duster first in the Indian market. After abandoning the second generation in India, this SUV is now going to be launched as the third generation on March 17. The company has specially prepared this new model according to the Indian market and many premium features will be provided in it.
It has features like powered tailgate, panoramic sunroof, electrically adjustable and ventilated front seats, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. Initially, it will have the option of 1.0-litre and 1.3-litre turbo petrol engines, while a 1.8-litre hybrid system will also be introduced by the end of the year.
2. Renault 7-Seater SUV
After the new Duster, the company is also preparing to launch a 7-seater SUV based on the same platform. Its design will be different from Duster and an attempt will be made to give it a more premium look. Although its name will be different, technical similarities can be seen between the two models.

In this model, there will be more space on the second seat, while two adults will be able to sit on the third seat, but the space may be slightly less. It may also get better quality materials, soft-touch finish and additional comfort features. Engine options could include a 1.3-litre turbo petrol and a 1.8-litre petrol-hybrid.
3.Renault Bridger
Apart from this, the company is also planning to launch a new compact SUV named Bridger in the future, which has already been shown in concept form. It could be one of the larger SUVs in its segment with a boxy design, which will give it stronger road presence and more space. It is likely to have around 200 mm ground clearance and boot space of around 400 litres.
According to reports, this SUV can be launched by the end of 2027. Initially, it can be given with 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine. After this, hybrid and fully electric versions can also be introduced in a phased manner from 2028. Through these new models, the company is trying to strengthen its position in India’s rapidly growing SUV market.
