New Delhi: French automobile manufacturer Renault on Tuesday launched an all-new avatar of its mid-size SUV ‘Duster’ in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs 10.49 lakh. Renault’s wholly-owned Indian arm Renault India launched the turbo petrol version of the new Duster at an event here, saying deliveries have now begun across the country. Apart from this, the company has also offered it with R Pass, through which it can be pre-booked till March 31 and it can be purchased at a starting price of Rs 10.29 lakh (ex-showroom). Besides, Renault is also giving 7 years warranty on it. The interesting thing in all this is that almost 91 percent of the pre-bookings are for its Turbo variant. The new Duster is built on the company’s new RGM platform, which makes it more powerful and advanced than before. Talking about the design, it now gets more rugged and muscular styling. Elements like LED headlamps, DRLs, Duster badging on the wide front grille, large wheels, black cladding and roof rails give it a true SUV look.
