RE Himalayan 750

Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 is expected to be launched in the Indian market by March 2027 and will make its global debut at EICMA 2026.

Royal Enfield plans to launch 5 new motorcycles in India in FY27 and Himalayan 750 will be one of them. Besides, the company will also launch 13 updated models. The company will also build a plant in Andhra Pradesh, which will be the company’s first plant outside Tamil Nadu. The concept model of Himalayan 750 was shown at EICMA 2025.

However, company CEO B Govindarajan had said that it still needs more testing before it becomes a production model. Last year also many company officials were seen testing this bike in Ladakh. Once again this bike has been seen during testing on a highway in Tamil Nadu. The new Himalayan 750 is being designed as an adventure tourer bike.

It will be provided with rear set footpegs for better comfort and sporty riding. Apart from this, the bike will get adjustable suspension setup, which will have USD forks at the front and monoshock suspension at the rear. For braking, it will get dual disc brake at the front and single disc brake at the rear.

The special thing is that for the first time in any Royal Enfield bike, dual disc brakes will be seen at the front. Talking about design, it can be given 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheels, rear luggage rack, round LED headlamp, knuckle guards, upswept exhaust and large front windscreen.

As features, it will get Round Tripper Dash TFT instrument cluster, which will have Google Maps based turn-by-turn navigation support. Apart from this, all-LED lighting, USB Type-C charging socket, Bluetooth smartphone connectivity, music controls and tubeless tires are also expected.

This bike will be provided with a new 750cc twin-cylinder air/oil-cooled engine, which can generate power of about 55-60 bhp and torque of up to 60-65 Nm. The engine will be paired with a 6-speed gearbox, which will be tuned according to the higher weight of this bike.
