Royal Enfield recorded the highest ever monthly sales in the Indian market in October 2025 with sales of 1.17 lakh units.
During the financial year 2026 (April 2025 to February 2026), Royal Enfield has sold more than 10 lakh motorcycles in India. This is the first time that the company has sold more than 10 lakh (10,06,937 units) motorcycles in a financial year. The company’s total sales in the first 11 months of FY26 stood at 10.07 lakh units, showing a growth of 24 per cent year-on-year.
The company continues to dominate the 350cc segment, where it has a market share of 94 percent. Although the company also has several models in the 450cc and 650cc segments, the 350cc range accounts for 92 percent of total sales. Royal Enfield Classic 350 remains the company’s best-selling bike, contributing about 40 percent to total sales.
The Chennai-based company had sold a total of 10.10 lakh units in FY25, which included 9.03 lakh units in the domestic market and 1.07 lakh units in the export market. Although the company was not able to achieve this record that year, it has achieved this feat in FY26. The figures for March 2026 have not been revealed yet, but it is estimated that by the end of FY26, Royal Enfield’s domestic sales may reach around 11 lakh units, while exports may be around 1.25 lakh units.
The real strength of the company lies in its 350cc line-up. Of the 10,06,937 units sold so far in FY26, 9.31 lakh units (92 per cent) came from four bikes, including Royal Enfield Classic 350, Royal Enfield Bullet 350, Royal Enfield Hunter 350 and Royal Enfield Meteor 350.
A total of 9.91 lakh units were sold in the 250-350cc segment, in which these four bikes together gave Royal Enfield 94 percent market share. While the Classic 350 leads with 40 percent share, the Bullet 350 comes second with 25 percent, while the Hunter 350 and Meteor 350 together hold the remaining 35 percent.
Talking about the 350-450cc segment, total sales of Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 and Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 were 32,994 units, giving Royal Enfield a 27 percent market share. Bajaj Auto dominates this segment, with 60 percent share. The company sold a total of 58,626 units of Triumph 400 and KTM 390 series.
In the end, Royal Enfield ruled the 500-800cc segment as well. The company sold 42,640 units of its 650cc bikes Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650, Royal Enfield Interceptor 650, Royal Enfield Continental GT 650, Royal Enfield Shotgun 650, Royal Enfield Bear 650 and Royal Enfield Classic 650. A total of 44,156 bikes were sold in this segment, in which Royal Enfield had 97 percent market share.
