Tata Motors to gift the first batch of the soon-to-be-launched new Tata Sierra SUV to the Indian women’s cricket team in honor of their World Cup win
Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles has announced that it will gift the first batch of its upcoming new Tata Sierra SUV to the Indian women’s cricket team. The company will give a top model of Sierra to every member of the team and this honor is being given to commemorate the team’s spectacular ICC Women’s World Cup victory. With this step, Tata Motors is paying tribute to the hard work, courage and leadership spirit of the team, which is also reflected in the design and modern style of the new Sierra.
The new generation Tata Sierra is one of the most talked about SUV launches in India, which will be launched on 25 November 2025. This SUV is a complete departure from the old 3-door model and will now be a 5-door family SUV, combining modern design with classic looks.
Recently, Tata Motors has released several teasers of Sierra, which have revealed that it will have features like panoramic sunroof, connected LED tail lamps, and flush door handles. The new teaser also shows its bright red color and triple-screen dashboard layout, which further adds to its premium look.
Initially, Tata Sierra will come in petrol and diesel engine options, while its electric version will be launched later. 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine: Will give power of 170 PS and torque of 280 Nm. Whereas the 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine produces 170 PS of power and 350 Nm of torque. Both engines will be available with manual and automatic gearboxes.

It will have two battery pack options, out of which the larger pack will be capable of giving a range of more than 500 kilometers in real life. This SUV will also be special in terms of safety and it is expected that it will also include Level 2 ADAS.
