Tata Nexon Pure+ PS variant is available in petrol manual and AMT, twin-cylinder CNG manual, diesel manual and AMT options
Tata Motors has launched the new Pure+ PS variant of Nexon in the Indian market. The special thing is that for the first time in India, a voice-assisted panoramic sunroof has been provided in an SUV priced below Rs 10 lakh. Its starting price has been kept at Rs 9.59 lakh (ex-showroom), while the price of diesel AMT variant goes up to Rs 11.19 lakh.
The launch comes at a time when Nexon has crossed the sales mark of 10 lakh units on Indian roads. This is considered an important achievement for Tata Motors. Nexon Pure+ PS is offered in four powertrain options, which include petrol manual, petrol AMT, twin-cylinder CNG manual and diesel manual and AMT.
The 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine found in it gives a power of 120 PS and the same engine has also been used in the iCNG variant. The company claims that this is the most powerful engine in the compact SUV segment. At the same time, the diesel variant has been said to be the most fuel efficient in its segment.

Commenting on the launch, Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd. Vivek Srivatsa, Chief Commercial Officer, Tata Nexon said, “Despite becoming India’s best selling car in the second half of FY26 and the No. 1 SUV for the entire FY26, Tata Nexon continues to be the choice of customers across the country. With the trust of more than 10 lakh customers, Nexon has always been an SUV offering great features and great packages at every price point. Now Pure+ PS is India’s first panoramic sunroof under Rs 10 lakh. Its value has been further strengthened by launching the variant.”
Talking about the features, apart from panoramic sunroof in the new Pure+ PS variant, 26.03 cm Harman infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 6-speaker audio system, HD rear view camera, auto LED headlamps, rain sensing. wipersFeatures like cruise control, LED tail lamps and auto folding ORVMs have been provided.
Nexon sales have been quite strong in the last one year. It was India’s best-selling SUV in FY2026 and also became the country’s best-selling car in the second half of the financial year. The new Pure+ PS variant has been specially launched keeping in mind those customers who want an SUV with premium features at a low price.
