Tata Motors has achieved a new success. Its Nexon has become India’s best selling car in September 2025. The company sold more than 60,000 vehicles this festive season and has recorded record sales in the quarter. With this, Tata Motors has become the second largest car company in the country after Maruti Suzuki.
Further strengthening its identity as one of the safest cars in India with a 5-star GNCAP rating, the Tata Nexon has now gone a step further in terms of safety. The company has added new features of Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) in one of its variants. This set includes features like Autonomous Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Warning, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Centering, High Beam Assist and Traffic Sign Recognition, which make driving more safe.
With these safety improvements, Tata Motors has launched the Nexon Red Dark Edition with a starting price of Rs 12.44 lakh. Available in petrol, diesel and CNG powertrains, this special edition emphasizes premium cosmetic appeal with red accents and special interior touches that differentiate it from the standard variant.

The Tata Nexon Red Dark Edition is dressed in Atlas Black exterior with piano black grille surround, roof rails and skid plates. Inside the cabin, there are Granite Black colored surfaces with red ventilated leatherette front seats, diamond quilting, red stitching and #DARK-embroidered headrests.
Additional features like rear sunshade and upgraded infotainment interface further enhance its premium look. Both petrol and diesel options are available with manual or automatic gearbox, while the CNG variant will appeal to customers looking for economy.

The petrol manual variant of the Nexon Red Dark Edition starts at Rs 12.44 lakh, while other options include petrol DCA (with ADAS) available at Rs 13.81 lakh, diesel manual at Rs 13.52 lakh, diesel AMT at Rs 14.15 lakh and CNG manual at Rs 13.36 lakh. Whereas, the price of Nexon Fearless + PS DCA ADAS is Rs 13.53 lakh (ex-showroom).
