Tata Nexon leads the list of top 10 cars of November 2025, leaving behind Maruti Suzuki Dezire, Swift and Punch

SUVs remain the first choice of customers in the Indian market and this is clearly reflected in the sales. However, some old hatchback and sedan models retain their place. Tata Nexon remained at number-1 in the list with 22,434 units and its sales have recorded a year-on-year growth of 46 per cent, reflecting the ever-increasing demand for the new model.

Behind this was Maruti Suzuki Dezire in second place, which has registered a very strong growth of 79 percent with sales of 21,082 units. The new generation Dezire with its new design and premium interior has received good response from the customers. The third-placed Maruti Suzuki Swift sold 19,733 units, a growth of 34 per cent, keeping it one of the most popular hatchbacks in the country.

At number four was Tata’s Punch, which registered 18,753 units and showed a growth of 21 per cent year-on-year. At fifth position was Hyundai Creta, which sold 17,344 units and achieved a growth of 12 percent. Despite increasing competition, Creta’s feature-packed nature, engine options and brand trust continue to keep it going strong.

At the sixth position was Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, which sold a total of 16,197 units last month, which is a growth of 7 percent on an annual basis. In November 2024, 15,150 units were sold. This shows that this MPV is still being liked in both family and commercial segments.

Mahindra Scorpio, Maruti Suzuki Front and Maruti Suzuki WagonR are at seventh, eighth and ninth positions respectively. Scorpio’s 23 per cent year-on-year growth reflects its popularity in both urban and rural areas, while the Scorpio has had a steady performance with a modest 1 per cent growth. WagonR has also registered a slight growth of 5 percent on an annual basis with sales of 14,619 units.

Completing the top-10 list, Maruti Suzuki Brezza stood at tenth position, with 13,947 units sold. Although there has been a slight decline of 7 percent in its sales on an annual basis, it still remains an important model in the compact SUV segment. Its facelift model will be launched next year, which has been seen several times during testing recently.
