Tata Punch EV Facelift’s exterior design revealed, new colors and features will be available

New Tata Punch EV

Tata Punch EV facelift will be launched in the Indian market on February 20 and will get new features along with updated design.

Tata Motors has revealed the exterior design of its popular compact electric SUV Punch EV facelift ahead of its launch. Many changes have been made in the new facelift model, due to which the look of the car looks more stylish than before. The biggest change has been seen in the front profile.

The grille is now given a completely closed-off design, giving it a clean and premium EV appeal. This time Tata has removed the black strip connecting the headlights from the new model. Apart from this, the scuff plate at the bottom of the front bumper has also been slightly redesigned, making the front of the SUV look more fresh and powerful.

The Punch EV facelift will be equipped with new aero-optimized alloy wheels, whose design is inspired by the Tata Nexon EV. Along with this, Tata has also introduced a new yellow color option. This new color will come with a black roof, which will give the car a sporty and premium look. Although the company has not yet released pictures of the rear design and interior of the Punch EV facelift, it is expected to have connected LED tail-lamps, as seen in the Punch Petrol.

There is little possibility of major changes in the interior, but Tata may give it a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system taken from the Nexon EV, which will come with new software. Apart from this, existing features like 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, wireless phone charger, 360-degree camera, auto-dimming IRVM, connected car technology and ambient lighting will be retained.

In terms of safety, Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) is likely to be provided in the Punch EV facelift. If this happens, it will make the Punch EV one of the most advanced electric SUVs in its segment. No major changes are expected in the battery and motor options of the Punch EV facelift. As before, it will come with 25kWh and 35kWh battery packs, with ARAI-claimed ranges of 265 km and 365 km respectively.
