Tesla Model YL has dual-motor all-wheel drive (AWD) setup and its top speed is 201 Kmph.
Tesla has launched the long-wheelbase 6-seater version of the Model Y in India and this new model joins the company’s existing lineup along with the regular Model Y. The starting price of Model YL Premium (all-wheel drive) has been kept at Rs 61.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and its WLTP range is said to be up to 681 km on a single charge.
The performance of Tesla Model YL is quite strong. It has a dual-motor all-wheel drive system, due to which it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5 seconds. Its top speed is 201 km/hr. This car has Stealth Gray color, 19-inch alloy wheels and black themed interior.
The “L” of Tesla Model YL means its larger (long) version. It has three rows and six seats, making it more useful for large families. It also has a large boot space of 2,539 litres. Additionally, it also gets advanced infotainment system and subscription connected features.
Customers get a 30-day premium connectivity trial, after which basic network and navigation can be used for 8 years. A premium audio system with 18+1 speakers is also provided in the cabin. This electric SUV is based on Tesla’s dedicated EV platform, which has a low center of gravity due to the floor-mounted battery.
The size of Tesla Model YL is quite large and its length is 4,976 mm, width is 1,982 mm and height is 1,668 mm. Its wheelbase is 3,040 mm, which is about 150 mm more than the standard Model Y. For safety, it has been provided with driver assist features, multiple airbags, stability system and over-the-air (OTA) updates.
The seats get heating function, powered folding and adjustable armrests. The third seat row of Tesla Model YL offers AC vents, USB-C port, cup holder and 50:50 folding seat. To book this car, a non-refundable token of Rs 22,200 will have to be paid.
