Mahindra Scorpio N Facelift
Mahindra may introduce the facelift of its popular SUV Scorpio N around the model day. Mild changes in the exterior, new front design and LED lighting can be seen in the new Scorpio N. The cabin is expected to get a large touchscreen infotainment system, fully digital instrument cluster and new features. However, no changes are expected in its 2.0-litre turbo petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engines.
skoda slavia facelift
Skoda can launch its updated Slavia facelift in mid-August. Mild changes will be seen in the design in the new Slavia. It is expected to get a new front grille, updated headlamps, new alloy wheels and more premium interior. A large digital instrument cluster and updated infotainment system can be provided as features. The biggest change can be seen in the form of a new 8-speed automatic gearbox with its 1.0-litre TSI engine, while the 1.5-litre TSI engine will remain available with a 7-speed DSG as before.
MG’s new hybrid SUV
JSW MG Motor India may also unveil its new hybrid SUV in August. According to reports, the company may bring a new SUV with strong hybrid or plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrain. It is believed that this could be the recently patented MG Hector Hawk. Although the company has not yet revealed anything about the official model name or specifications, there is every possibility of a big announcement from MG in August.
Yamaha R2
Yamaha may launch its new fully-faired sports bike R2 in August. This bike will come in the segment above R15. It will compete with bikes like KTM RC 200 and Hero Karizma XMR. It is expected to get a liquid-cooled engine of about 200cc, which will give a power of about 25 PS. Features like deltabox frame, premium suspension and sporty design can also be seen in the bike.
Ather EL Electric Scooter
Ather Energy may launch its new EL electric scooter by the end of August. The company can bring it in the segment below 450 series, making it the most affordable electric scooter of Ather. At present, information about its battery, motor and range has not been revealed, but it is believed that it will attract those customers who want to buy a reliable electric scooter at a low price.
