At the same time, hatchback cars like Maruti Wagon R and Maruti Swift still remain the first choice of mass buyers. Last year, a total of 1,94,238 units of Maruti Suzuki Wagon R were sold. Whereas Swift sales stood at 1,89,261. Easy driving in cities, low expenses and resale value were its strong points.
