Hero Splendor has once again secured the first position in the list of top 10 best-selling two-wheelers in May 2026.
The two-wheeler market has registered good growth in May 2026. Total sales of the top 10 best-selling models stood at 12,68,886 units, whereas in May 2025 this figure was 11,76,627 units. In this way, there has been an increase of more than 92,000 units on an annual basis and a growth of 7.84 percent has been recorded in the market.
In this list, daily use bikes and family scooters were most liked. Hero MotoCorp’s Splendor retained the title of the country’s number-1 two-wheeler by registering the highest sales in May 2026. It sold 3,48,115 units in May 2026, which is 27.43 percent of the total sales of the top 10. Its sales have increased by 12.17 percent compared to last year.
Honda Activa stood at second place, with sales of 2,28,955 units. Activa sales have registered a strong growth of 20.05 percent on an annual basis. At the same time, Honda Shine stood third in the list with 1,55,441 units, although its sales declined marginally by 1.79 percent on an annual basis.

The month of May was very good for TVS. TVS Jupiter stood fourth in the list with sales of 1,24,767 units and its sales have increased by 27.83 percent. Bajaj Pulsar stood fifth in the list with 1,24,270 units and its sales have increased by 1.73 percent year-on-year.
Suzuki Access stood at sixth position with 75,729 units, but its sales have been almost stagnant. On the other hand, Hero HF Deluxe suffered the biggest loss and its sales declined by 38.09 percent year-on-year to 66,722 units. TVS Apache took the eighth position in the list with sales of 53,900 units and its sales increased by 9.78 percent. While TVS XL sales increased by 30.34 percent to 48,569 units. TVS iQube has recorded the highest percentage growth among the top 10 models. Sales of the country’s best-selling electric scooter increased by 52.64 percent to 42,192 units, placing it at tenth position in the list.
