Tata Nexon has registered sales of 23,365 units in January 2026, a year-on-year growth of 52 per cent as compared to 15,397 units sold in the same month last year. Its strong safety rating, petrol-diesel-EV powertrain options and regular updates have made it the first choice of customers. Tata Punch stood at the third position with sales of 19,257 units, a growth of 19 per cent as compared to 16,231 units sold in the same month last year. Hyundai Creta took the fourth position with 17,921 units, although its sales saw a slight decline of 3 percent. Yet it remains one of the most popular midsize SUVs in India.
