TVS has recorded total sales of 5,11,766 units in January 2026, an annual growth of 29 percent compared to last year.

TVS Motor Company has registered a strong growth in total sales in January 2026 on the back of strong performance in the domestic market, international business and new mobility segments. The company sold a total of 5,11,766 units this month, which is 29 percent more than the same period last year.

The two-wheeler segment remained the biggest source of sales for TVS this month too. Total sales in this category increased to 4,94,195 units, which is 28 percent more than in January 2025. The Indian market played an important role in this growth, where domestic two-wheeler sales increased to 3,83,262 units, which is an increase of 30 percent on an annual basis.

The scooter category within the two-wheeler segment has seen tremendous growth. Scooter sales increased to 2,22,926 units in January 2026, which is 30 percent more than last year. At the same time, the motorcycle segment also performed well, where sales increased to 2,19,188 units, an annual growth of 26 percent.

The Hosur-based automaker recently updated its popular Apache series and also introduced anniversary edition models. Apart from this, the entry of the new Apache RTX 300 has proved to be extremely beneficial for the company. Due to its stylish design, powerful engine, advanced features and affordable price, this bike is rapidly becoming popular among the customers. Besides, its off-road capability also makes it special.

TVS’s hold in the electric vehicle segment is also becoming stronger. The company’s electric vehicle sales increased to 37,756 units in January 2026, which is a huge increase of 50 percent compared to last year. The growing network of TVS iQube and the recently launched Orbiter have played an important role in attracting new customers.

TVS has also performed strongly in international markets. The company’s export sales in January 2026 stood at 1,22,343 units, which is 21 percent more than the same period last year. Two-wheelers had a major contribution in this, where two-wheeler shipments abroad increased to 1,10,933 units. Which is an increase of 18 percent on annual basis. The fastest growth was seen in the three-wheeler segment. This category recorded sales of 17,571 units during January 2026, which is an impressive growth of 77 percent compared to last year.
