The 2025 Fortuner Leader Edition comes with a newly designed grille, sporty spoiler, dual-tone roof, signature hood emblem and sleek glossy black alloys
Toyota Kirloskar Motor has launched the 2025 Fortuner Leader Edition to woo customers this festive season. Following last year’s success, this new model has received several updates. It looks sportier than ever thanks to the newly designed grille, front and rear bumper spoilers and light chrome accents.
The dual-tone black roof further enhances the contrast, as are the glossy black alloy wheels and hood emblem. Customers have the option to choose from four colors including Attitude Black, Super White, Pearl White and Silver and all are available in both 4×2 manual and automatic variants.
On the inside, there is now a dual-tone theme of black and maroon on the seats and door panels. Toyota has also added some new features to it, including auto-folding mirrors and illuminated scuff plates. Additionally, safety has also been improved by the addition of Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).
Apart from these, no other changes have been made. The new Fortuner Leader Edition is powered by Toyota’s 1GD-FTV 2.8-litre turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine with variable geometry turbocharger. This engine is capable of producing a maximum power of 201 bhp and a peak torque of up to 500 Nm.
Customers can choose between a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic gearbox and the SUV comes with its own rear-wheel-drive (4×2) setup. The new Fortuner Leader Edition is available with multiple flexible finance plans including low EMI options up to 8 years. Additionally, it also comes with pre-approved add-ons like extended warranty and Toyota Genuine Accessories.
Buyers get five years of free roadside assistance, standard 3 years/100,000 km warranty, extendable to 5 years/220,000 km. 15 years after its launch in India, the Fortuner is recognized as the country’s most reliable full-size SUV with over 3 lakh units sold so far. Bookings for the 2025 Fortuner Leader Edition will officially begin from the second week of October 2025.
