Triumph Motorcycles has revised the prices of its 400cc bike range, allowing customers to get savings of up to Rs 21,500 on-road.
Triumph Motorcycles has achieved a major milestone in India as the sales of its 400cc bike range has crossed 1 lakh units. With this achievement, the company has also revised the prices of its entire lineup, with customers now getting on-road savings of up to Rs 21,500 depending on the model.
With the new prices, entry into the brand has now become easier. The range starts at Rs 1.95 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), where the most affordable model is Rs. Apart from this, the price of Triumph Scrambler 400 has been kept at Rs 2,31,890, the price of Triumph Scrambler 400 XC has been kept at Rs 2,59,241, the price of Triumph Thruxton 400 has been kept at Rs 2,65,538 and the price of Scrambler 400
The biggest reason for this reduction in prices is the 18% GST slab, which has been made possible with the introduction of the new 350cc engine. This change has helped the company reduce costs and the benefits have been passed on directly to the customers, while not much has been changed in the character and performance of the bike.
One of the reasons for Triumph’s growth in India is its rapidly expanding network. The company is now present with over 230 outlets in over 200 cities, strengthening its reach in smaller towns. The company is set to grow even faster in FY27. Due to the 350cc platform, better pricing and increasing reach, now even new customers can join the brand, who earlier considered it expensive.
Manik Nangia, President, Probiking, Bajaj Auto, said, “With the tremendous success of our 400 range and 1 lakh Triumph bikes on Indian roads, we are off to a strong start to FY27. The 18% GST has made prices more competitive, while the quality and engineering of our products remains intact. We are confident that with these savings, more riders will join the Triumph family.”
The company has also included the Tracker 400 in its updated lineup in India. With a 350 cc engine, the T4 now produces 29 PS of power and 31 Nm of torque. Whereas Speed 400 and Scrambler generate power of 37 PS and torque of 32 Nm. Thruxton 350 is the most powerful, giving 40 PS of power and 32 Nm of torque.
Talking about performance, Speed 400 (350cc) reaches 0-100 speed in 8.1 seconds, Scrambler in 8.8 seconds, Thruxton in 8.3 seconds and T4 in 9.6 seconds. In top speed, T4 goes up to 137 km/h, Speed 147 km/h, Scrambler 144 km/h and Thruxton 157 km/h.
