Yamaha Fascino crosses 15 lakh (1.5 million) unit production mark since launch
Yamaha Motor India has today introduced a new updated version of its stylish scooter Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid, in which the design has been made more modern and youth-friendly. The starting price of the new Yamaha Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid has been kept at Rs 76,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the drum variant. Whereas the price of Fascino Disc has been kept at Rs 88,000 and the price of Fascino S has been kept at Rs 95,200.
This scooter will be available at all Yamaha showrooms and Blue Square outlets. The new Fascino now looks more compact and modern than before. Its rear has been shortened, which makes the scooter easier to drive in the city. Major changes have been made in its rear design, which includes a new tail section, new taillights, flashers and a special V-iconic taillight design. New decals have also been added, which have been designed by Yamaha’s India-based R&D team.
Commenting on the update, Hajime Aota said, “Yamaha has always been evolving with the changing needs of its customers. He added that the Fascino has crossed the 1.5 million unit production mark, which shows the confidence of the customers. The new model has been specially designed for the youth and has been introduced as a trendy, unisex scooter.”
The Fascino was first launched in 2015 as a 110cc scooter. In 2019, it changed to a 125cc BS6 model and in 2021, hybrid technology (SMG) was added to it. Enhanced Power Assist, TFT display and connectivity features were added to it in 2025.
The new Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid has a 125cc Blue Core Hybrid engine, which gives better performance and mileage. It has been provided with many advanced features, which include Smart Motor Generator (SMG), Silent Start, Stop & Start System (SSS), Enhanced Power Assist.
These features help in providing better performance with initial speed, climb and weight. The scooter gets many modern and useful features, which include telescopic suspension, side stand engine cut-off, 21 liter under-seat storage, E20 fuel support. Additionally, the premium Yamaha Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid S variant features a color TFT instrument cluster, which allows easy use of connectivity features like turn-by-turn navigation and Answer Back.
