1. Bibi Ka Maqbara, Aurangabad
Biwi Ka Maqbara, popularly known as the Taj Mahal of the poor, is located in Aurangabad, India. It looks exactly like Taj Mahal. It was built by Aurangzeb’s son Prince Azam Khan in memory of his mother Rabia-ud-Daurani. It is often called the ‘Crown of the Deccan’. There are gardens all around it, which have made it a pleasant place. It is considered a symbol of Aurangzeb’s marital fidelity. Thousands of people come to see it every year.
2. Taj Mahal of China
China has mastered the art of replicating anything. So he has created his own version of the Taj Mahal. It is located in a theme park in Shenzhen called Window to the World. The specialty of this park is that it has replicas of all the historical monuments from around the world. This includes world famous buildings like the Eiffel Tower and the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
3. Taj Mahal of Dubai, Taj Arabia

Taj Arabia, located in the famous Mughal Gardens area of Dubai, is a 20-storey hotel filled with 350 rooms, shops and restaurants. The Taj Mahal of Bangladesh is located in the capital Dhaka. The credit for making it goes to Bangladeshi film producer Ahsanullah Moni who got it made in 2008. The reason behind this was his visit to his native Taj Mahal in Agra which inspired him. Let us tell you that it was made as a part of a film set. It was allowed to remain as it was and then became a major tourist destination in Dhaka.
5. Taj Mahal Houseboat, Sausalito, California
During a trip to India in the mid-1970s, vineyard entrepreneur Bill Harlan was so impressed by the Taj Mahal that he decided to build a duplicate of it. Upon his return to California he began construction of the Taj Mahal houseboat. As the name suggests, it is a version of the Taj Mahal on a boat. The design of the boat is inspired by the houseboats plying in Dal Lake of Kashmir. Bill also visited Kashmir during his visit. They stayed on this Taj Mahal houseboat for 2016. Then he sold it and moved to Napa, California.
6. Royal Pavilion, Brighton, United Kingdom
The United Kingdom also has its own version of the Taj Mahal. This building of the Royal Pavilion is a British monument which is similar to the Taj Mahal located in Agra. It is also known as the Brighton Pavilion. It was built as a seaside retreat for George, Prince of Wales. Its structure was inspired by the Indo-Saracenic style of the 19th century, which was prevalent in India.
