New Delhi, July 13 (). A 17-year-old minor youth was stabbed to death on 40 feet road in Molarband Extension of Badarpur area of South Delhi. The deceased has been identified as Yash, who was a class 12 student. The incident took place at around 7.45 pm in street number 4 near Pandey Medical Store. Police have arrested two accused in the case, while the search for the remaining accused is ongoing.
Speaking to , Jagmohan Singh, father of the deceased, said, “I had no idea. When I reached the hospital after getting the information, I saw that my son was dead. There was a knife on his chest. My only son was stabbed with a knife. He was studying in class 12. I want justice, if I don’t get justice, I can do anything.”
Jagmohan Singh says that his son was of a calm nature and he has demanded the police to punish the culprits as soon as possible.
According to preliminary investigation, Yash was called to the spot by the brother of the girl with whom he was in a relationship. Yash reached there with three friends. There was a fight with another group. During the dispute, Yash was stabbed several times in the chest and stomach with a sharp weapon. Local people helped and injured Yash was immediately taken to AIIMS Trauma Center, where his condition was said to be critical. Yash died during treatment due to the severity of the injuries.
Officials of Badarpur police station said that the information was received from the local beat staff at around 8 pm. Investigation into the case was started by registering DD No. 94A. The crime team inspected the spot (SOC). Police have registered a case of murder under relevant sections. Two accused have been caught from the spot. Several teams have been deployed to search for the remaining accused.
