A strange case has come to light in Deoria, Uttar Pradesh. A 23 year old woman has faced serious allegations. She trapped a 15 year old boy in the trap of love. After having a physical relationship with her, he demanded marriage. When she refused, he threatened to commit suicide by consuming poison. After this, the woman married the scared boy in a temple on August 27.
The woman pressured and threatened the boy, then got him married in the temple. The family was very upset that their minor son was getting married to an older woman. The matter was informed to Childline. After considering all aspects of the incident, the Child Welfare Committee wrote a letter to the Superintendent of Police of Deoria demanding action against the woman.
According to sources, the police have registered a case and started investigating the matter. It is learned that the woman has gone underground, while the boy is at her house. The woman is a resident of a village in Salempur police station area of Deoria. It is said that the love affair between her and the boy started about six months ago. The boy’s family alleges that the girl was cheating on him. The boy says that she repeatedly lured him into physical relationship and threatened to poison him.
For some time she started pressurizing him for marriage. When he complained to the police station, some policemen took his side. He threatened to file a rape case if she did not marry him and started putting pressure on her.
Both of them got married in the temple
Both of them got married on 27th August at Bhagada Bhavani temple. It is said that both their families had come during the wedding. The boy’s family objected. Despite this the girl took an oath to marry the boy. After marriage, the boy’s mother refused to take the girl home.
She said that her son is still a minor and she will take him home when he becomes an adult. There was a fight on this matter. Meanwhile someone informed Child Line. A team of Child Line arrived and took both the parties to the police station. Child Welfare Committee Chairperson Savitri Rai wrote a letter to the SP of Deoria requesting him to take action. The police are now investigating the matter.
