The government has made its vision for 6G clear. India will be among the first countries to launch 6G services. Following the rapid deployment of 5G, 6G is now in the works. To achieve this, the government has launched the “India 6G Vision” mission. This mission has been launched to bring together all the stakeholders working on 6G in India and explore its potential.
1000 times faster than 5G
For those who are not familiar with 6G, it is worth noting that it will enable data transfers up to 1000 times faster than the existing 5G. While 5G provides internet access at speeds of up to 1Gbps, 6G will enable you to access the internet at superfast speeds of up to 1000Gbps, which means large amounts of data can be transferred in the blink of an eye. The government has consistently taken steps to promote the next generation communications technology, 6G, in India. Following the rapid proliferation and adoption of 5G, the government is completely focusing on the India 6G vision, according to official data released by the central government on Sunday. This vision is unique as it will use completely indigenous technology. The primary goal of this vision is to develop 6G technology in India by 2030.
India 6G Vision
India’s 6G vision is based on the principles of affordability, sustainability and universal access. This vision will ensure that every citizen has access to high-speed connectivity. It will also promote indigenous research, innovation and global partnerships in India. The central government is working on the Developed India Mission by 2047, in which 5G and 6G will play an important role. According to the report, the arrival of 6G will improve remote surgery, advanced robotics, smart cities and immersive visual experiences. India’s 6G roadmap aims to increase the sector’s share in national GDP by 2035. The government estimates that 6G will contribute US$1.2 trillion to India’s GDP over the next few years.
