Actually, a man entered the lioness’s enclosure by cutting the iron wire.

According to a report in ‘The Sun’, a man entered the lioness’s enclosure at a zoo in Ghana and tried to steal her cub. The man first cut the iron wire and entered the lioness’s enclosure. However, when the man was entering the enclosure, the lioness saw him. Then the lioness attacked him, killed and ate him.

This incident happened in Accra Zoo, Ghana. Ghana’s Deputy Minister of Lands and Natural Resources, Benito Owusu-Bio, said that when a lion has a cub in its den and you try to approach it, it thinks you are trying to snatch it. He further said that that is why people are always cautioned against such acts. Zoo officials say initial investigation suggests the man wanted to steal the lion cub from the zoo. However, his real motive has not been confirmed yet.

Zoo officials said that the lion, lioness and their two cubs present in the den are completely safe. After the incident, security around the den has been increased. Police are also keeping an eye on the situation so that no lion runs away from the zoo. The police have started investigation along with zoo officials.
