These days a strange video is going viral on the internet. In this, a human-like robot is seen chasing a herd of wild pigs. While driving away the pigs, he also screams exactly like humans. A unique solution has emerged to protect against the threat of wild pigs infiltrating European cities—introducing “pig herding robots.” The footage showing this incident is going viral rapidly on social media platforms. It shows how an AI robot successfully chased away a herd of wild boars in the city of Warsaw, Poland.

The video was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) with the handle @edwardwarchocki. Its caption reads: “I’m driving the wild boars back into the wild.” At first glance this footage looks a bit funny. According to a report by the *New York Post*, the clip shows a G1 humanoid robot made by Chinese company Unitree—named “Edward Warchocki”—following pigs running across an empty parking lot and trying to shoo them away. The agile pigs manage to escape from their two-legged pursuers, causing the robotic pig-herder to clench his fists in frustration.
It looks exactly like a scene from the 2024 animated science-fiction film *The Wild Robot*. On the surface, it seems Warchocki still has a long way to go to successfully tackle the city’s growing problem of feral pigs—a problem so widespread that municipal officials have even had to resort to culling the animals in residential areas. However, it was later revealed that this robotic chase with the pigs was just a publicity stunt. According to a report in *Futurism*, Warchocki is a popular “robot influencer” who has enthralled audiences with his various human-like actions. These activities include singing on stage, chasing marathon runners and even visiting the Polish Parliament.
Nevertheless, people on social media seem quite happy and surprised by the performance of this automated AI robot in herding pigs. Many people have given their reactions on this; One user even called Warczołki a hero. Another user wrote, “Finally, a wise use of robotics.” By the way, the US also has its own version of Poland’s “robotic troll”—the Unitree G1 humanoid “Jake the Ridgebot,” who wears a cowboy hat. This robot has also attracted people’s attention. The machine has gone viral for its strange antics, which include speaking in Gen Z language and claiming to be a member of the LGBTQ community after moving to California.
