Jind For the first time, the Haryana government is organizing programs on Maharaja Agrasen Jayanti at the state level. State Chief Minister Naib Saini will be present as the chief guest at the event to be held at the Rainbow Auditorium of Panchkula, while the state’s revenue and urban local body minister Vipul Goel will preside over the function. The program will get a wonderful introduction of unity, culture and organizational power of society. State General Secretary of Agrawal Vaishya Samaj, Balram Gupta, while making maximum participation in this ceremony, said that by joining this program, the power and solidarity of the society should be introduced. This will give the message of social unity to the coming generations of the society. Rajesh Singla, General Secretary of Agrawal Vaishya Samaj, has written a letter to the urban body and literate minister of the state, Vipul Goyal, putting 6 demands in front of him and said that these demands should be considered in the program of Agrasen Jayanti. Most of these demands are such that the government will not spend a single penny.
He informed that also in the name of Maharaja Agrasen Marg, whether National Highway No. 9 which goes from Delhi to Agroha to Fazilka Punjab. On this, a huge gate in the name of Maharaja Agrasen should be constructed at Gateway of Haryana in Bahadurgarh. His second demand includes providing adequate funds for the operation of the research bench set up in the name of Maharaja Agrasen at Indira Gandhi University Mirpur. The third demand states that Kosli, Bawal, Kalayat, Baloda, Tarawadi, Rai, Kharkhoda Bawanikheda, Pihowa, Badli and Bahadurgarh are cities where there is no statue of Maharaja Agrasen. The government should provide space to install the statue of Maharaja Agrasen in these cities.
The society has made another demand that people come to Agroha not only from all over the country but also from abroad. Its development will increase the honor of the state and society. Therefore, the government should work to create Agroha Development Authority on the lines of Kurukshetra Development Authority.
The society has also proposed to build a main road in their name in the name of freedom fighters like Balmukund Gupta of Haryana’s freedom fighters Rewari, Banarasi Das Gupta of Bhiwani, Deshbandhu Gupta of Panipat, Moolachand Jain of Karnal, Hukumchand Jain of Hisar in their names in their names in the name of freedom fighters. The society has said about the Maharaja Agrasen highway coming from Bhawanigarh in Sangrur district of Punjab to the border Brahmin Wala of Haryana that if it becomes from Brahmin Vala to Ratia to Fatehabad, it will directly connect with Agroha whose total distance is only 34 kilometers. Aggarwal Vaishya Samaj has demanded from the government that this road should be constructed immediately.
