Home Minister Amit Shah wrote on Twitter, “Heartfelt tribute to the second Sarsanghchalak of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Param Pujya ‘Guruji’ on his death anniversary. Param Pujya Guruji gave a strong ideological foundation to cultural nationalism and established service as the biggest power of nation building. Under his leadership, the Sangh created public awareness in every sphere of national life and gave new heights to national consciousness. His entire life dedicated to social unity, integrity and self-respect was a unique example of national service. For example, his ideas of Swadeshi and national upliftment will always inspire the young generation.
