Yamunanagar. Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labor Minister Anil Vij took action on the illegal colony being cut down in Yamunanagar and directed to register a case against the then concerned Registrar during the illegal colony being cut down. Apart from this, Vij, taking cognizance of the complaint regarding registration of a piece of land in Sector-17 of Jagadhri, directed to register an FIR against the concerned Assistant Engineer of Municipal Corporation Deepak Sukhija and arrest him. Vij was presiding over the meeting of District Public Relations and Grievance Redressal Committee in Yamunanagar. 15 pre-determined complaints were placed in the meeting, out of which the Energy Minister resolved 7 complaints on the spot and directed to resolve the remaining 8 complaints till the next meeting. In the meeting, Mahendra Taneja, resident of HSVP, Sector-17, Jagadhri, presented a complaint before Vij regarding the registration of a piece of land after approving the property ID, and in this matter, Additional Deputy Commissioner Naveen Ahuja presented the investigation report on which the Energy Minister directed the Municipal Corporation Commissioner to register an FIR against Municipal Corporation Assistant Engineer Deepak Sukhija. It is noteworthy that Deepak Sukhija has been transferred, on which the Cabinet Minister instructed the Superintendent of Police to register an FIR and arrest him.
On the other hand, Vijaydeep Singh, a resident of Basant Nagar, Jagadhri, complained about the action taken by DTP and Municipal Corporation Yamuna Nagar on the illegal colony being cut in the HSVP land near Basant Nagar Jagadhri. SDM Jagadhri put forward his stand, on which the Energy Minister directed the Deputy Commissioner to get an investigation done as to what action is being taken by the DTP on all the illegal colonies being cut. Due to illegal colonies, people demand electricity, water and other facilities from the government. In such a situation there is loss of revenue. He instructed the Deputy Commissioner that a case should be registered against the registrar who has done the registration in the illegal colony.
In the meeting, Anil Kumar, resident of village Lawana, Thana Chappar, lodged a complaint regarding arrest of accused Manjeet Singh, Sonu Foji, Gagan, Lakhwinder with immediate effect, on which the Energy Minister directed the police officer to get the statement written in front of the Sarpanch, Councilor and interested persons. Similarly, on the complaint of Parvinder Kamboj, a resident of village Fatehpur Tehsil Jagadhri, about getting compensation for the crop damaged due to the continuous leakage of chemical-laden dirty water from the water tea plant of Jagadhri city, the Energy Minister ordered the Executive Engineer of the Public Health Engineering Department, Jagadhri, to get the matter investigated as to how the leakage occurred in the pipe and take action against the agency.
Similarly, Rajendra Kumar, a resident of village Deodhar, complained about no action being taken in the case of crop theft, the investigation report of which was presented by the police department, on which the Energy Minister directed SDM and DSP Chhachhrauli to investigate and provide satisfaction to the complainant. Subhash Chand, a resident of Yamuna Nagar, lodged a complaint regarding payment of the pending amount for the renovation and development work of the government pond, on which the Executive Engineer presented his side before the Minister and assured to get the outstanding amount paid within a month as soon as possible.
Apart from this, Rood Singh, resident of Laldwara Colony, lodged a complaint regarding removal of illegal encroachment. In this matter, Executive Engineer Electricity Distribution Corporation presented a report on which the Energy Minister gave instructions to get the report done and Singh Ram, resident of village Lavani, Kalavad, complained about fake cylinder entry and black marketing by the gas agency. DFSE presented its stand in this matter, on which the Minister ordered to form a joint committee under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner and examine all the records of the gas agency.
Vij directed to settle the 7 complaints on the spot, in which Manjeet Kaur, resident of Madhuban Colony Jagadhri had raised the problem of sewerage, taking action on which the Executive Engineer of the Public Health Department got the work of cleaning the sewerage done. Similarly, on the complaint of Charanjit Singh, resident of Ekta Vihar, Kansapur, on the complaint of Hussaindin, resident of village Darpur Chhachhrauli, about taking action against the person who injured his son Tarif in an accident with a tractor-trolley, the Energy Minister directed the Superintendent of Police to conduct an impartial investigation and find a solution.
Similarly, in the meeting, Jaipal, a resident of Kansli, complained about getting his wife’s death certificate made, Iqbal Singh, a resident of Chuhadpur Kala, complained about the spread of pollution due to the dust flying in the air due to grinding of raw stone in the factory. The Energy Minister directed the Regional Pollution Officer to investigate the factory and seal the factory.
Sarpanch Arvind Kumar, resident of village Fatehpur tehsil Jagadhri of Yamunanagar, had complained about burying the pipeline to solve the problem of drinking water in the village. The solution for this family has been laid by the Public Health Engineering Department by laying the pipeline and Surendra, resident of village Rasoolpur, raised the problem of installing a breaker in village Rasoolpur, on which a tender for the breaker has been floated by the Public Works Department. This work will be completed by June 30.
While talking to the media after the meeting, Anil Vij said that the meeting of the District Public Relations and Grievance Redressal Committee will be held in Yamunanagar on the last Friday of the month at 12.00 noon so that the complainants are also aware and all the officers are also present. Apart from this, he said that Bharatiya Janata Party is a democratic party and elections are held from time to time in BJP and changes take place from time to time. Under the same, State President Dr. Archana Gupta has been appointed in BJP.
On this occasion, Yamunanagar MLA Ghanshyamdas Arora, Sadhaura MLA Renu Bala, Deputy Commissioner Preeti, Superintendent of Police Kamaldeep Goyal, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Mahavir Prasad, Additional Deputy Commissioner Naveen Ahuja, District BJP President Rajesh Sapra, Mayor Municipal Corporation Suman Bahmani, District Council Chairman Ramesh Thaska, Jagadhri SDM Vishwanath, Vyaspur SDM Dr. Kuldeep Singh, Chhachhrauli SDM Jaspal Singh Gill, Radaur SDM Narendra Kumar, CTM Piyush Gupta, DIPRO Dr. Manoj Kumar, Market Committee Yamunanagar Chairman Rakesh Tyagi and other officials and government and non-government members of the District Public Relations and Grievance Redressal Committee and other dignitaries were present.
