Jaipur. General Observer Subhashree Nanda, appointed by the Election Commission of India under the Anta Assembly by-election 2025, inspected various polling centers and check posts of the assembly constituency on Monday. During the inspection, he reviewed the election preparations in detail and gave necessary directions to the concerned officials for fair, peaceful and transparent voting.
During the inspection, Nanda took stock of the availability of basic facilities like electricity, water, toilets, ramps, sheds, wheelchairs and waiting areas at the polling stations. He especially took information about the arrangements being made for disabled voters, senior citizens and women voters and directed that a safe and comfortable environment should be ensured for all voters on the voting day, November 11. The General Observer also visited the check posts and observed the vehicle checking, CCTV surveillance, videography, seizure of material and documentation process being carried out there. He directed the officials to ensure strict adherence to election rules and keep a vigilant vigil on any kind of illegal activity.
After inspection, Nanda held a meeting with District Election Officer and Collector Rohitashv Singh Tomar and Superintendent of Police Abhishek Andasu at Circuit House Baran. In the meeting, the progress of election preparations, security arrangements, status of sensitive and ultra-sensitive polling stations, activities of flying squads, SST teams and voter awareness campaigns were reviewed. The General Observer directed that all departments should work in mutual coordination, so that the voting to be held on November 11 is peaceful, transparent and with 100 percent voting. He said that the election process is the most important festival of democracy, which should be conducted with complete fairness and awareness.
On this occasion, Returning Officer and SDM Anta Hawai Singh Yadav, Liaisoning Officer and Assistant Director Juhi Aggarwal, police and administration officials and representatives of concerned departments were present.
