Attacks on Indian ships increased from Oman to Hormuz, know how much loss India has suffered in Iran-America conflict

The military confrontation between Iran and America has raised concerns for India and has also impacted global maritime trade. Since the war began on February 28, 2026, attacks on commercial vessels in the Gulf region – particularly the Strait of Hormuz and the Gulf of Oman – have increased. Amid efforts by the US Navy to blockade Iranian ports, many of the ships targeted were either Indian-flagged or manned by Indian crews. Recently, today on June 11, an Indian ship was attacked. These incidents have not only raised questions about the safety of international sea routes, but also put the Indian shipping industry and the lives of Indian seafarers at grave risk.
