Attempt to tarnish India's reputation at international level: Rajnath Singh

New Delhi, February 20 (). Indian Youth Congress workers protested by taking off their T-shirts at the ongoing AI Impact Summit at Bharat Mandapam in Pragati Maidan, Delhi. On this, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh attacked Congress and condemned this act.

He said that the Youth Congress workers have shamefully created a ruckus at the venue by behaving inappropriately. That is not only unfortunate but also an attempt to tarnish India’s reputation internationally.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh wrote on social media platform The shameful manner in which the Youth Congress workers created a ruckus by behaving inappropriately at the venue is not only unfortunate but also an attempt to tarnish India’s reputation at the international level. I condemn this act of Congress.

He further wrote, “Whenever India moves forward on the global stage, the Congress seems to give priority to taking political advantage rather than standing with the national interest. It is extremely sad to put party politics above the prestige and honor of the country. The people of India understand very well who is engaged in making India strong and capable and who repeatedly tries to tarnish India’s image.

Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, while talking to on the Youth Congress’s performance, said, “Today the country is ashamed, it was not just a matter of Congress workers taking off their clothes, but their actions have exposed the Congress. The country and the world have seen the real face of the Congress. This was playing with the honor of Mother India. I want to ask Sonia Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge, has politics become more important for you than the honor of the country. Congress is anti-national. It is done.

He said that the disappointed and frustrated people, who have been repeatedly rejected by the public, have become so frustrated and demoralized that they are now making fun of the honor of the country, what could be a bigger misfortune than this.

Union Minister Prahlad Joshi said in an ex-post that the shameful behavior of the Indian Youth Congress members in Bharat Mandapam has once again brought to the fore the hollow politics of the Congress. When there is no vision, no relevance, drama becomes the default strategy. Such behavior is not at all expected from a very old party of the country. Protesting has become their habit because performance is easier than performance in politics and governance. At such a big event showcasing India’s global progress, he chose to embarrass the country’s image instead of honoring it. This kind of behavior shows a very negative thinking, which puts petty politics above the prestige of the country. India is moving forward with strength and confidence. Those who cannot compete with that growth have clearly chosen drama over responsibility. By doing every such thing, they are just making themselves clowns on the national stage.
