Jaipur. Jaipur Municipal Corporation is being intensively reviewed by the Autonomous Government Department regarding the preparations for Swachh Survekshan-2026. In this sequence, an important review meeting of Jaipur Municipal Corporation was organized in the Directorate Auditorium on Saturday, which was presided over by Government Secretary Shri Ravi Jain. Director (Swachh Bharat Mission) Prateek Juikar, Municipal Corporation Jaipur Commissioner Gaurav Saini, Deputy Commissioner (Health) Omprakash Thanvi, Chief Engineer (Directorate) Arun Vyas along with Chief Health Inspectors and Assistant Engineers of all the zones of the corporation were present in the meeting. Government Secretary Ravi Jain gave instructions to ensure timely and effective implementation of all the parameters of Swachh Survekshan. Emphasizing on zone-wise intensive monitoring, he directed all the Deputy Commissioners to compulsorily inspect all the wards of their respective areas twice daily – at 7:30 am and 2:30 pm.
He directed to further strengthen the visible cleanliness of cleanliness in the city, conduct regular monthly reviews of the progress and speed up cleanliness activities. He also said that the cleanliness campaign should be given the form of a mass movement with the participation of the general public, business organizations and social organizations.
The Government Secretary also directed that on the basis of monitoring report, the best Chief Inspector (CI) and Sub Inspector (SI) who have done excellent work will be honored. He said that no stone should be left unturned to ensure that Jaipur Municipal Corporation gets the top position in Swachh Survekshan-2026.
