Lalsot. While solving the mystery of theft in a temple of the area, Lalsot police station has succeeded in arresting an accused. The police have also recovered the brass Sheshnag which was stolen from the temple from the possession of the accused.
Accused caught from Jamaat intersection
Acting on the information of the informer, the special team formed under the leadership of Police Station Officer Pawan Kumar arrested Lavkush Meena (26), resident of Bamanwas (Sawai Madhopur) on February 11 from Jamaat Square, Lalsot. Police have registered a case against the accused under section 303(2) of BNS. After interrogation, the stolen brass Sheshnag was recovered at the behest of the accused.
The under construction temple was targeted
According to the case, complainant Krishnagopal Gautam, resident of Gobariya Pada, had lodged the report on January 30. It was reported in the report that renovation work is going on in Shri Maleshwarnath Mahadev Temple located near his house. On the night of January 30, an unknown thief had entered the temple and stolen the brass Sheshnag installed on the Shiva idol, water motor cable, starter and LED bulb.
Police investigation continues
After the case was registered, the police succeeded in reaching the accused with the help of technical evidence and informer network. The police is now strictly interrogating the accused Lavkush Meena so that other small and big theft incidents in the area can also be revealed.
