New Delhi/Patna. The Grand Alliance has decided its Chief Minister face for Bihar Assembly elections 2025. RJD chief Tejashwi Yadav will be the chief ministerial candidate of the grand alliance. This announcement was made by Congress leader Ashok Gehlot in the joint press conference of the Grand Alliance.
Gehlot said, “Our leader is Tejashwi Yadav. If our government is formed, the Deputy Chief Minister will be Mukesh Sahni. Apart from this, other Deputy Chief Ministers will also be made, who will represent the backward communities.” He hit back at the NDA and said that now the NDA should tell who will be their chief ministerial face. Merely saying that the elections will be fought under the leadership of Nitish Kumar will not be enough. Immediately after the announcement, Tejashwi Yadav said, “Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone for reposing trust in me. We will try our best to live up to the trust that has been shown. We will overthrow the 20 year old inefficient government.”
In this joint press conference, 14 leaders of 7 parties including RJD, Congress, VIP of Grand Alliance participated. All the leaders underlined the unity and common struggle of the Grand Alliance and gave the message of the strength of this alliance in their respective speeches. The press conference lasted about 50 minutes.
